  • Acquiring a custom beat is on a "contract-for-hire" basis, meaning 50% of payment is due up front as a non-refundable deposit.

 

  • Custom Standard Leases allow you to use your purchased beats without any distribution or time limits (distributed at your price).

Exclusive Rights

  • Exclusive Rights means you own the beat as "work for hire" and it can not be resold by Kool-Nerd Productions™ or by you.

 

  • There is no distribution limit.

 

  • Royalties are negotiable and publishing is split evenly among licensees and Kool-Nerd Productions™.

 

  • You receive a tracked out version with WAV files.

Non-Exclusive Rights

  • Non-Exclusive Rights are used as a way to grant artist the ability to work their way to an Exclusive Rights standing. Most artists like a payment plan of some kind and this is it! With this, artists can have the chosen instrumental off the market while they pay their monthly fee until they reach the negotiated Exclusive Rights price. At that point the contract changes from a lease with Non-Exclusive Rights to Exclusive Rights.

 

  • There is no distribution Limit

 

  • Missing a monthly payment means the beat goes back up for sale until payments resume.

 

  • Royalties are negotiable and publishing is split evenly among licensees and Kool-Nerd Productions™.
